Indy? He's a sweet guy [ homepage ]. We've known him for a few years, and taken care of him before, but it was wonderful to have him back for a visit. Happy as a lark, always looking for a good petting, powerful and active but easily calmed down, and he didn't give the chickens and cats a hard time. His sheer power and focus in a watching or guarding situation grabs your attention, but he's wonderfully mild in family situations. Elvis, our 19-year-old cat tapped him on the nose a couple of times and after that, though inquisitive, Indy kept a respectful distance and just watched as Elvis would walk throughout the house. When you say "No!" this guy listens! Indy is sharp. Really sharp. Selah gave him a few lessons in her style of play-fighting (lots of twirling, hip-checks, jumping over & under her opponent, etc), and he learned with amazing speed. Our dogs love the "find it" game where we hide a toy in a different room and then release the dog to find it. He didn't seem to know the game, but was an expert after a single try. He's a pleasure to walk and to watch walking. He has the most delightful, lithe, bouncy step! And when you're stretching, Indy comes up next to you and joins in with his own stretching program! Indy has great health testing, a superb pedigree, and most importantly, he definitely has "5-Star Temperament"!
